Away from the traffic and crowds, and nestling against acres of beautiful National Park fields and woodlands, is our secluded Bowness guest house offering bed and breakfast accommodation just 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Bowness village and Lake Windermere.

Enjoy a relaxing short break or a longer holiday in our friendly non-smoking Bowness guest house which boasts spectacular Lake Windermere views, peace and tranquility in the heart of the English Lake District.

Take a moment to look out for wild deer which sometimes visit. Walk the Dales Way – only a minute’s stroll from our front door – to 3 viewpoints just minutes’ walk from us.

There are eleven individually appointed bedrooms including Single, double, twin and family bedrooms: each with en-suite showers / private bathrooms. Colour television, tea & coffee making facilities, central heating and use of a hair dryer.

With the Dalesway walk ending, almost, in our backyard we are 'walker' friendly, with drying facilities and an outside water tap for cleaning off muddy boots.
